We are looking for experienced Agentic Consultants and Agentic Engineers who build production-ready AI solutions with the latest tools and frameworks.
At The Automation Group, we build AI solutions daily for organizations like Wolters Kluwer and InShared. We seek medior professionals with at least three years of experience in business and a 10x mindset: independent, technically strong and focused on demonstrable impact.
What You'll Build
A multi-agent system that reduces insurance claim processing from 45 minutes to 3. Intake, classification, routing — fully automated with CrewAI agents that integrate with the client's existing legacy systems.
A RAG pipeline for a publisher that makes 200,000+ documents searchable — not with simple vector search, but with a hybrid retrieval architecture that understands context at the level advisors need.
An n8n orchestration that automates the entire annual report preparation for an accountancy firm — from data extraction from source systems to draft reporting, including human-in-the-loop validation.
An OpenClaw integration for a small SMB that wants to manage all social media channels from Telegram or Slack.
In short: we're looking for people who are curious about the best agentic coding practices, want to learn about important security standards, MCP protocols, A2A flows, model evaluations, and other aspects of what we call the Agentic Enterprise.

Who We're Looking For
You translate complex organizational challenges into working Agentic AI solutions. You independently lead client projects, communicate clearly with decision-makers and teams, and take responsibility from analysis through implementation.
You design and build reliable AI Agents, integrations and automations for production. You combine technical depth with pragmatism and use AI tools to deliver better results faster.
For both roles: at least three years of demonstrable professional experience in business, a clear 10x mindset, based in the Netherlands, professional Dutch proficiency, at least 1 day per week in Utrecht and available on short notice (full-time or part-time). Junior positions are not currently open.
