Our Trainee Programme is for professionals with at least 5 years of business experience who want to become an Agentic AI Engineer or Agentic AI Consultant. Your background doesn't matter — your demonstrable interest in the technology does. You work on real client assignments for leading organisations from the start.
The best Agentic AI Consultants we meet don't come straight from university. They are people who have worked in business for years, who know how organisations really work, and who got hooked on agents, prompts and automation in their own time.
That's why our Trainee Programme is a reskilling track. Requirement: at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience and a story about what you've already done with the technology. The rest — architecture, context engineering, evaluation, security — we teach you, with a senior coach and real client work.
Work directly for leading organisations in the Netherlands. No sandbox, no 'learning environment' — production from day one.
We spent a year building a curriculum you won't get elsewhere: agentic consultanting, context engineering, evaluation, prompt architecture, security, multi-agent systems.
You don't learn alone. We hire in cohorts so you have peers around you from day one going through the same thing — at the same pace.
One-on-one with a senior consultant. Code reviews, mentor talks, sparring on architecture and career. No 'just figure it out'.
We sit on the bleeding edge ourselves — Claude, GPT, Gemini, multi-agent frameworks. You don't learn them from books; you use them in production the day they ship.
You arrive with years of business experience. We don't throw it away: your domain knowledge, stakeholder instinct and project rhythm make you valuable faster than any junior could be.
Intense curriculum. Tooling, agentic patterns, context engineering, evaluation. Live cohort sessions, code labs, mini projects.
You work on real client work alongside your senior coach. Pair programming, code reviews, fast feedback.
You get your own scope on client projects. Demos, evaluations, cost metrics. Increasing ownership.
You're a full Agentic Consultant. Option to stay with The Automation Group or join a client as permanent staff (Deta-vast).
